FREE CLASS: The Art of Embodied Cultural Sensitivity

April 19th, 12-1 PM PDT

Join Dr. Spring Cheng and Dr. Stephanie Mines, faculty of the Regenerative Health MA/PHD program at Ubiquity University, in a free hour-long immersion in cultural sensitivity from a feminine, embodied perspective.

While their emphasis is on cultural sensitivity in the healthcare setting, the nature of this exploration applies to all situations of human service and relationship.  In every healthcare or healing encounter there are multiple cultures present. They all deserve recognition, respect and inclusion, but how to do this naturally is a challenge, particularly in a world oriented primarily towards fragmentation rather than unity.

In preparation for Earth Day, there is nothing more significant than building a bridge to global inclusivity and authentic diversity. During this free hour-long program, you will have the opportunity to experience that this is within reach.

This event is sponsored by Climate Change & Consciousness, Resonance Path Institute, and the Tara Approach.

The Prenatal Origins of Health
Jan

to Apr 6

The Prenatal Origins of Health

Events before birth, fueled by the human embryo, are more consequential in terms of health and development than anything thereafter. Nevertheless, prenatal life has been largely minimized in terms of its influence on all aspects of health, including emotional, psychological, and mental health. This program is part of an approach to reskilling medicine called Regenerative Health for A Climate Changing World. It allows people of all ages and all backgrounds to claim their earliest histories and support others in doing the same.

Facilitated by Neuroscientist and Embryologist, Dr. Stephanie Mines, everything in this program is transmitted through somatic education. Highly personalized and experiential, the curriculum intends to inspire healthcare providers, educators, parents, therapists, bodyworkers and anyone committed to life affirming healthcare to reclaim the origins of health and the treasure of Original Brilliance.

Hear from Dr. Mines in this short video about the program.

Dr. Stephanie Mines is the author of The Secret of Resilience. This book fuses Dr. Mines’ personal discovery of embryogenesis with her research as a clinician with over thirty years of experience resolving shock and trauma with people throughout the world. When you attend this series, you experience:

  1. The determined and initiatory life force of all embryos;

  2. The landmarks of prenatal development;

  3. The distinction between shock and trauma;

  4. The neuroendocrine evolution that occurs in relationship to prenatal events;

  5. The interaction of genetic, epigenetic and intergenerational forces on development; and

  6. How to recalibrate nervous system responses that became habituated as compensations for failed satisfaction.

No matter your age, you can cultivate neuroresilience by highlighting holographic moments in early development for reframing. The potent and formative energies of early life are a rich field for internal reorganization that optimizes biochemistry.

You will be joined by a cohort of like-minded practitioners who know the power of evolutionary consciousness. Find the unprecedented leadership that is your birthright, just in time to put it to use in a world yearning for your participation.

Register by submitting payment above.

Tuition: $1500 USD

~ Lev Natan is the author of Climate Leadership, and in 2020, he became the Founding Director of
ALLIANCE FOR A VIABLE FUTURE ~

This four-week introductory program for Regenerative Health for A Climate Changing World addresses activist and caregiver burnout. If we are to promote Regenerative Health for A Climate Changing World, we need to be free from burnout. Burnout afflicts many who are passionate and dedicated, but ignore their own burnout signals. Throughout the world activists and caregivers are melting down from overload. Climate crisis spews healthcare consequences, and activists are pushed to the wall in an atmosphere of hopelessness.

Turn the Tide: Regenerative Health transforms dedicated climate warriors, community organizers, frontline workers, caregivers, rescuers, first responders and workaholics into vital, resilient and uniquely unprecedented leaders.

  1. Identify the dynamics of burnout;

  2. Tap the groundswell of vitality and resilience that is your endless potential; and

  3. Embody, easily and spontaneously, a lifestyle that prevents burnout.

Get inside your own somatic impulses that lead to burnout. Experience revelatory ways to turn on the resilience that is indestructible and that lives inside you, even when you are in the throes of exhaustion. Unlike other programs that give pointers, techniques and instructions, we emphasize the personal components of our individuated burnout patterns and alchemize them into regeneration. We will learn the nuanced body signals that are the red flags of burnout and how to answer them immediately, averting the meltdown.

Regenerative Health for A Climate Changing World starts with preparing you to not burnout while you are of service to others.

This program is an introduction to becoming a Regenerative Health Practitioner. In a time when every day brings heart-breaking news, it is essential that activism and leadership be protected by access to resilience and equanimity. In this series, you will see how you can remain in service to your family and community while still prioritizing your own wellbeing.

Four Meetings:

  • Wednesday, June 15th: Meet the Regenerative Health Model and Highlight Cultural Sensitivity;

  • Saturday, June 18th: How We Put Pressure on Ourselves: Identify and Transmute Your Personal Exposome;

  • Wednesday, June 22nd: Healing in Community: Building A Safe Container; and

  • Saturday. June 25th: Experience the Model for Regenerative Health in A Climate Changing World

A sliding scale is available and the gift economy is operative. Those who are capable of paying more will empower those who need to pay less.

Stephanie Mines developed Regenerative Health out of her wealth of experience as a trauma survivor and visionary who spearheads paradigm shifting programs including Climate Change & Consciousness and the TARA Approach for the Resolution of Shock and Trauma. She addressed caregiver burnout for the families of veterans in her book They Were Families: How War Comes Home. She has been a guest faculty member on the staff of trauma units in hospitals and in programs for youth in recovery. She launches her Regenerative Health series with this emphasis out of her personal and professional experience as a healthcare provider and a climate activist.

Regenerative Health for A Climate Changing World is an action plan that comes to grips with how Western medical systems have failed to protect individuals, families and communities from the long-predicted and now accelerating health threats caused by climate catastrophe. Rather than agonize over this betrayal, Regenerative Health empowers community members who have a passion to offer effective, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive holistic resources for people of all ages. Many of these same resources are also useful for our four-legged friends and companions. In this summit a selection of these resources will be demonstrated, experienced and transmitted. We offer an enlivened format  to foment a groundswell revolution in healthcare and healthcare delivery. Join Dr. Stephanie Mines, founder of the TARA Approach for the Resolution of Shock and Trauma and Climate Change & Consciousness, and her friends, colleagues and partners like Dr. Anita Sanchez, Dr. Spring Cheng, Ya’Acov Darling-Khan (co-founder of Movement Medicine), Dr. Peter Whitehouse, Dr. Alison Davis and other well-grounded healthcare revolutionaries. Restore healing, sacred connection, compassionate care, and creativity to healthcare.

Summit Daily Summaries

Day One: Invocations ~ The Power of Beginning with Reverence and Gratitude

Our broken, colonized healthcare system disregards the truth that healthcare is sacred and relational. In this summit that reclaims the regenerative nature of healthcare, we initiate with invocation and reverence. Indigenous leaders, healthcare providers from around the world, offer invocations for auspicious beginnings. The Regenerative Healthcare for A Climate Changing World summit is not only about claiming our birthright of true healthcare, it is also about experiencing that, in the moment.

Confirmed Panelists: Dr. Anita Sanchez, Dr. Spring Cheng, Lev Natan, Clare Hedin

Day Two: What is Healthcare? What is Healing?

Summit convener, neuroscientist and embryologist Dr. Stephanie Mines, initiates the redefining of healthcare in a climate changing world. What does it mean to provide healthcare and healing opportunities when we are in the midst of the greatest existential crisis humanity has ever faced? Dr. Mines will enumerate the healthcare threats that dominate during this cycle and how a new definition of compassionate care will take us over the threshold to a world where our children can thrive as healthy, vital beings. In collaboration with experts in health, healing, healing in community, epidemiology, immunology and mental health, this day is devoted to making a declaration, a manifesto, about regenerative health and embodying it.

Confirmed Panelists: Ya’Acov Darling-Khan, Lev Natan, Clare Hedin, Stella Eisenstein

Day Three: The Regenerative Model

Dr. Mines unveils the Regenerative Healthcare Model and how we can implement it in communities. In collaboration with those who are engaged in regenerative health pilot projects around the world, Stephanie enumerates and demonstrates regenerative healthcare. This will be an opportunity to witness regenerative healthcare in action. Dr. Mines will be joined by TARA Faculty member Michele Wilcox in a demonstration of the Regenerative Model.

Confirmed Panelists: Stephanie Mines and the TARA Faculty

Day Four: Cinco de Mayo ~ Ancestors and Indigenous Ways

Regenerative Healthcare is built on the shoulders of our ancestors. Healers from all lineages unite in an endless stream of guidance and support from the past to this present, yearning moment, and propel us forward to meet the needs of our little ones, our elders, and people of all nations. We will spotlight time-tested healing resources that fuse readily and fluidly with contemporary medicines. Led by Dr. Anita Sanchez, we will first honor the tradition of Curanderismo and also invite the other lineages we supplicate on this auspicious day.

Confirmed Panelists: Dr. Anita Sanchez and Curanderas

Day Five: Healing and Healthcare for Babies, Children, Youth and the Children of the Future

As a Pre and Perinatal Psychologist, embryologist and specialist in neurodiversity, Dr. Mines gathers pediatric specialists who care about the future of children. It is our obligation as adults, as stewards, to have guidelines in place to protect the little ones and to assure health for those in utero, those about to be born, and those who are yet unborn. This day, the culminating one, is for the children who are our future. We will define pediatric protocols in a climate changing world, how we protect our neurodiverse youngsters and youth, and how we can be advocates for pregnant women and babies. Dr. Mines is joined by those who have been serving these populations for decades.

Confirmed Panelists: Dr. Allison Davis, Dr. Peter Whitehouse, Ibu Robin Lim

Come join us in this ceremony to honor the most heroic effort of our time: engaging in peaceful and creative process as a response to violence and conflict. This event is FREE and open to the public!

At a time when our hearts are riddled with painful cries of war, violence and conflict, what happens if we collectively respond with a deeper tenderness and vulnerability? What does it take to trust that the smallest offerings we make from the deepest corners of our heart can be heard by the world?

Come join us for an event of storytelling, music and community gathering. This event features Spring Cheng, co-founder of Resonance Path Institute, a woman leader in the CCC community who has dedicated her life to building bridges of creativity, collaboration and mutual learning between China and the west.

Spring was born in China and immigrated to the US as a graduate student. She has been a biomedical scientist, a student of Taoism, and an acupuncturist. By synthesizing the wisdom of the Tao and holistic medicine with the western scientific mind, Spring created Resonance Code, a system that facilitates human consciousness to evolve toward wholeness. Spring applies this knowledge in coaching and development of holistic leadership, helping people navigate uncertainty and find guidance from within.

In this event, Spring and her ensemble will present Earth Songs, music created with sacred texts from both east and west as Spring tells stories of her journey guided by her communion with Mother Earth. The audience will participate in conversations and a co-creative process that opens us all as vessels to transmit the Earth Song, celebrating the sacred exchange between feminine and masculine, intuition and logic, Earth and Heaven.

Honouring Circles with Joy Foley

UPDATE: Honoring Circles has been postponed until next year! We will keep you updated on when this class becomes available again. Until then, please check back on the website for future events and offerings.

Connect deeply with yourself and others, breaking down common barriers that interfere with honoring self, others and the planet.

Friday, October 15th, 22nd, and 29th 2021 from 10 – 12 pm PST (Time zone converter located here)

The Circle is an amazingly simple tool for embodied inner and outer connection at a deep level. It is a practice that provides a way to connect with ourselves, to recreate community and to develop the skills of deep listening and empathy. This deep witnessing builds a container of trust where we can bring our true selves without need of masks.

The Circle also builds deep resilience for coping with, even moving into leadership around, the many issues we are currently facing as environmental disasters accelerate, societal structures no longer serve, uncertainty about the future deepens and the ongoing effects of the Covid pandemic impact our lives.

Using the Honouring Circle will:

  • increase your ability to listen deeply,

  • improve your personal body awareness and assist you to come into and stay in the moment,

  • deepen connection between circle members even at distance over the internet by awakening the realisation of the interconnection between self, each other and the global situation, and

  • through raised awareness of body and thought-holding patterns, move through and release current, intergenerational and cultural trauma

The Circle becomes an anchor in these unstable times, a place of safe grounded sanity to return to and recharge. You will be able to take it with you to create your own and enjoy whenever you wish.

A little background on its creator, Joy

Joy Foley is a passionate global citizen, nature lover and edge dweller. She is a mother, gardener and one time nurse! An everyday person doing everyday things. Her life experience includes creating organic gardens, off grid living, nature connection, yoga and meditation. She has lived in four countries, always on the land. Voice Your Truth: The Art of Differentiation

UPDATE: Voice Your Truth has been postponed until next year! We will keep you updated on when this class becomes available again. Until then, please check back on the website for future events and offerings.

4 sessions, Wednesdays: October 13th, 20th, 27th and November 3rd.

10am-12pm PDT (Each meeting will be 2 hours)

Declare the end of under-estimating and minimizing yourself. The by-product of colonial capitalism is the theft of selfhood. This is antidoted when you voice your truth.

Disentangle and differentiate fearlessly and unapologetically to find the clear voice that is yours alone. This third iteration of Voice Your Truth is a stand-alone adventure into authenticity and embodied activism. It builds on the rich discoveries of the previous iterations and goes further in clarifying your singular articulation in whatever form matches who you are. Artists, activists, advocates and adventurers ready to join in community for conscious evolution are welcome.

Peel away the layers of powerlessness, repetition, competition, obligation and manipulation that weigh you down. In four meetings you can uncover the jewels that are pure you, fully differentiated and celebratory. Differentiation is not separation. Quite the contrary. Differentiation signals a chorus of voices, each one clearly identified.

Clare Hedin and Stephanie Mines are dedicated to supporting you in finding your distinct voice and honing its power. Clare is a sound healer, inspirational teacher, and founder of Dynamic Emergence. Stephanie Mines is a neuroscientist, author and founder of the TARA Approach. Together, they offer transformational wisdom cultivated by being unprecedented, innovative leaders in fifty+ years of service.

No matter what has happened before, the potency of your unique voice is always available, ready to come forth. It never dies, and neither does the truth that you carry.

Breathe the breath of life into your actionable vision and intention.

The cost of the series is on a sliding scale with tickets ranging from $355 to $430USD.

Embodied Activism: Upwelling in a Changing Climate: Proactive Self-Care to Share

Generation is at hand as you touch in to your deepest Nature with clinically tested Tools for Awakening Resources and Awareness.  As bioelectric beings, we each embody a map of 26 pairs of meridian-based energy centers that correlate with specific body-mind states.  Touching in to them with awareness and intention, we access the resource of our innate intelligence to sense stuck patterns and new options; activate the healing response; and renew motivation.

We will practice hands-on applications and movements that awaken nervous system and whole-being balance toward greater vitality- including addressing specific conditions such as immune support; grief; anxiety; insomnia. Strengthening our embodied sense of self as part of and in relationship with Nature, we enjoy better attunement to sense and act with the guidance here for us.

You will be able to share these tools of resilience with your children, family, community. Cultivating care begins with you, and these self-compassion practices translate easily.

Embodied Activism: Practical Steps for Creating Emotional and Physical Intimacy with Mother Earth

As part of our Embodied Activism series, lifelong Idaho gardener Angus Hughes will lead an interactive exploration of how to engage our bodies, hearts and minds in acts of love for Mother Earth, while opening our hearts, minds and bodies to the gifts she provides. Fostering reciprocity will be a theme of the exploration; Braiding Sweetgrass, by Robin Wall Kimmerer is recommended reading.

Participants will be encouraged to share about their acts of love toward nature, and the reciprocal gifts they have received, as well as set intentions for their future relationship of reciprocity with Mother Earth. Angus will share examples from his own relationship with Earth, including trash clean-up, forest care, foraging for wild berries, mushrooms, and greens, both for his family's sustenance and as a way to contribute to the local food economy. Selling organic garden seeds and fresh mushrooms through local co-operatives, managing the Orofino Farmer's Market, and hosting students through the World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms are all part of Angus' recent experiences that he will draw upon. Angus Hughes was born and raised in the irrigated desert land south of Boise, Idaho. Some of his favorite things to do were: play in dirt and water, climb the cherry tree and watch thunderstorms build. Now at age 34, he lives on an organic homestead in the temperate rainforest of the Clearwater region of Idaho, where some of his favorite things to do are: play in the dirt and water (gardening), forage for wild foods, and play bluegrass guitar
